The total number of global COVID-19 deaths has surged to 4.5 million, as of Tuesday, according to the Johns Hopkins University.
The University, in its latest update, revealed that the current global coronavirus caseload toll has reached about 217.1 million. The total number of COVID-19 vaccinations administered was more than 5.2 billion.
