Governorates Prepare Mass Viewing Events for Jordan, Argentina Match

Amman: Governorates across the Kingdom: are preparing nationwide fan zones for the national team's World Cup match against Argentina. Kick-off is scheduled for 5 a.m. on Sunday, June 28, with numerous official viewing areas set up across the Kingdom to enable wide public participation.

According to Jordan News Agency, main venues include the Great Arab Revolt Square in Aqaba, the Prince Faisal Sports City in Karak, the Al-Hassan Youth City gymnasium in Irbid, and more than 60 youth centers nationwide. Organizers stated that the expansion of fan zones aims to maximize public participation and allow citizens across all governorates to share in the national celebration.

They added that hosting screenings at tourism and heritage sites also helps promote Jordan internationally by showcasing its cultural and historical landmarks alongside national sporting celebrations. Security and logistical arrangements have been finalized, with designated entry and exit routes, crowd management teams, and capacity limits at each site. Organizers urged early arrival, adherence to instructions, and the use of national flags and traditional attire to reflect public support and national pride.
