Amman: The Fuel Pricing Committee convened today to set the local market prices for petroleum derivatives for November.
According to Jordan News Agency, the committee analyzed the global prices of crude oil and petroleum products for October, comparing them with those from September. The analysis revealed a decrease in the global average prices of gasoline grades 90 and 95, while diesel prices remained steady throughout October.
Following the application of the pricing formula, which aligns with global price trends for all petroleum products, the committee decided on a price reduction for gasoline. Specifically, gasoline 90 will see a reduction of 10 fils per liter, and gasoline 95 will see a decrease of 5 fils per liter. Diesel prices will remain unchanged.
The committee has adjusted the selling price of gasoline (octane 90) to 845 fils per liter, down from 855 fils per liter, and gasoline (octane 95) to 1,075 fils per liter, down from 1,080 fils per liter. The price of diesel remains at 685 fils per liter, while kerosene stays at 620 fils per liter.
Additionally, the price of a domestic gas cylinder (12.5 kg) will remain at 7 Jordanian dinars per cylinder. It is noted that the average price of Brent crude during October was approximately $64.7 per barrel, down from an average of $68 per barrel in September.
