Gulf Cooperation Council Secretary-General Condemns Iranian Attacks as War Crimes

Manama: The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Mr. Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, has denounced the Iranian regime's recent attacks on infrastructure and civilian facilities in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan, labeling them as war crimes that require immediate international accountability. According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Mr. Al-Budaiwi expressed strong condemnation of the attacks, which resulted in injuries to several civilian workers in Kuwait. He emphasized that Iran's actions represent a significant escalation and a serious violation of international law and the United Nations Charter. The attacks, he stated, are in flagrant violation of international norms and conventions, further destabilizing the security and stability of the region. Mr. Al-Budaiwi reaffirmed the GCC's solidarity with Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan, emphasizing support for all measures taken by these nations to protect their security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. He also extended his wishes for a swift recovery to those injured in Kuwait.
