Amman: The Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (HCD) has announced plans to introduce an electronic device aimed at tracking the movement of children and adults with disabilities, with a particular focus on those with intellectual disabilities and deaf children.
According to Jordan News Agency, the council released a statement on Sunday detailing that this system is intended to aid families in monitoring their children's movements and to assist in search and rescue operations during emergencies. The HCD has called on families interested in obtaining the monitoring system and training on its usage to complete an online application. This step is part of the preparatory process to determine the number of eligible beneficiaries based on specific criteria.
