HCDS and Awqaf Ministry Discuss Expanding Services for Disabled Military Personnel

Amman: Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Dr. Mohammad Khalaileh, met with Director General of the Hashemite Commission for Disabled Soldiers (HCDS), Ret. Brig. Gen. Adel Shunaq, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation and coordination, aiming to better serve disabled military personnel and their families.

According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting highlighted several issues, including programs and services provided to disabled military personnel, as well as arrangements for Hajj and Umrah. Both parties discussed mechanisms to enhance mutual cooperation to facilitate access to relevant services and programs for disabled soldiers.

Khalaileh emphasized the ministry's commitment to strengthening cooperation with the HCDS, supporting efforts to serve disabled servicemen, and providing all possible facilitations within the ministry's jurisdiction. Shunaq underlined the importance of the partnership with the ministry, aiming to leverage its expertise in religious and guidance fields to develop services and programs for disabled personnel and their families.
