Health Minister Engages with Kuwaiti and Bahraini Ambassadors on Strengthening Health Cooperation

Amman: Minister of Health, Dr. Ibrahim Badour, discussed ways to strengthen Jordan's health cooperation with the Kuwaiti and Bahraini ambassadors to Jordan. In two separate meetings, Badour emphasized the importance of activating reception offices for Arab patients in Jordanian hospitals to facilitate treatment procedures and enhance the experience of foreign patients.

According to Jordan News Agency, the minister and the ambassadors explored the possibility of establishing strategic partnerships between Jordanian pharmaceutical factories and their counterparts in Kuwait and Bahrain. The minister highlighted that these partnerships could lead to the exchange of expertise and expansion of export markets for Jordanian pharmaceutical products.

Concluding the discussions, Badour affirmed that the Ministry of Health is open to initiatives that enhance joint Arab cooperation in the health sector. This openness extends to supporting investment and expertise transfer for mutual benefit. In response, Kuwaiti envoy Hamad Al-Marri praised the strong bilateral relations and emphasized Kuwait's interest in enhancing cooperation in the health sector, particularly in providing healthcare services.
