The Ministry of Health said Friday it recorded 12 coronavirus related deaths and 301 infections across the Kingdom, bringing the death toll to 9,647 and the caseload to 745,667.

According to the ministry’s daily brief, the number of currently active cases reached 6,652, with 64 admitted to hospitals today, while 54 were discharged.

The report also said that the occupancy rate of isolation beds in the northern region was 6 per cent, intensive care beds 10 per cent and ventilators 5 per cent.

In the Central region, the occupancy rate of isolation beds was at 12 per cent, intensive care 25 per cent and ventilators 8 per cent, the report said.

In the southern region, the occupancy rate of isolation beds was 4 per cent, intensive care 7 per cent and ventilators 4 per cent, it showed.

It also said that 14,236 PCR tests were collected, bringing the total since the beginning of the pandemic to 7,642,608, with a positivity rate today of about 2.11 per cent.
