Amman: The Higher Education Council (HEC), under the leadership of Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Azmi Mahafzeh, has approved measures to conduct the last session of the Shamel exam, which serves as the comprehensive final examination for community college students. This exam will be administered by Al Balqa Applied University (BAU).
According to Jordan News Agency, the decision was made during a meeting held by the HEC on Thursday. The council announced that this final session is scheduled for the second half of July 2026. It will be available for students who have not yet exhausted their attempts to pass the exam, following the current regulations set by the university.
