Amman: The Jordan Armed Forces and Public Security Department on Monday launched a joint security exercise "Falcons of Hashemites / 5," led by the Special Police Command in collaboration with the Royal Jordanian Air Force. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Huneiti and Public Security Director Major General Obaidallah Maaytah oversaw the launch of the exercise, which was held at the Special Police Training Center. According to Jordan News Agency, the exercise marks a significant effort to enhance cooperation between military and security units, aiming to strengthen Jordan's readiness to respond to diverse security challenges. The training is intended to refine the operational capabilities of the Jordan Armed Forces and Public Security Department, thereby reinforcing national security and public safety. The exercise includes a range of tactical applications, such as precision shooting and building and vehicle storming, with aerial support provided by Royal Jordanian Air Force aircraft . The early stages of "Falcons of Hashemites / 5" highlighted the participants' advanced skill level and effective coordination, key outcomes of joint training initiatives. As the exercise began, Major General Huneiti and Major General Maaytah extended greetings from His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander, to all participants, acknowledging their dedication and professionalism. Concurrently, several specialized training courses, conducted by the Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army and its specialized units, commenced alongside the main exercise to support the continued development of military and security personnel.
