HM King receives Patriarchal Representative of Antioch to Russia

Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received His Eminence Archbishop Niphon Saikali, Patriarchal Representative of Antioch and All the East in Russia, today at Al Safriya Palace. His Majesty welcomed Archbishop Saikali, commending his efforts in promoting values of goodwill, love, and tolerance. His Majesty the King wished him continued success. HM the King reaffirmed Bahrain's pride in its longstanding history of fraternity, human coexistence, and religious tolerance, where all faiths and sects live together as one family. His Majesty said that this has been maintained by the awareness of the Bahraini people, their commitment to noble human principles, and their respect for other religions, reflecting the nation's progressive and inclusive approach. The meeting also discussed means of promoting dialogue and religious tolerance among followers of different faiths, with an emphasis on moderation and rejecting extremism. Archbishop Saikali expressed his appreciation to HM the King for Bahrain 's commitment to fostering a diverse and harmonious society that embraces all religions without discrimination.
