House Committee and UAE Diplomat Focus on Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation

Amman: The Lower House Foreign Affairs Committee convened with UAE Embassy Charg© d'Affaires in Amman, Hamad Al Matrooshi, on Wednesday to explore enhanced cooperation across multiple sectors.

According to Jordan News Agency, Committee Chairman MP Haitham Ziyadin emphasized the deep-rooted Jordanian-Emirati relations, highlighting their foundation on coordination, mutual trust, and shared interests. Ziyadin noted that this cooperation plays a crucial role in supporting joint Arab efforts to tackle regional challenges.

Ziyadin pointed to the UAE's substantial support for Jordan, particularly through investments and development projects that have spurred economic growth and job creation across several sectors.

Al Matrooshi expressed the UAE's ongoing commitment to broadening collaboration with Jordan, aiming to build on current partnerships to further mutual objectives.

Committee members MPs Mohammad Sabayleh and Ali Ghazawi acknowledged the countries' enduring ties as a strong basis for further coordination and cooperation in various fields.
