Amman: The Lower House's Economics and Investment Committee convened on Wednesday with employees from the Civil Service Consumer Corporation to deliberate on the ongoing administrative merger with the Military Consumer Establishment. The session was led by lawmaker Khalid Abu Hassan, who facilitated discussions about the integration of these two state-run retail entities.
According to Jordan News Agency, during the meeting, feedback and concerns were voiced by staff members regarding the merger. The gathering also saw the participation of parliament members Hussein Krishan, Ibrahim Al-Tarawneh, Baker Al-Heisah, and Mohammad Kataw. The lawmakers assured the employees that the committee is committed to addressing their concerns with the appropriate government bodies, ensuring that the merger progresses smoothly without jeopardizing the rights and job security of the personnel involved.
The committee reaffirmed that all necessary administrative and legal steps related to the consolidation will be carried out in full accordance with the law, aiming to uphold the public interest.
