House Education Committee Welcomes King’s Directive to Boost Student Support Fund

Amman: The Lower House's Education Committee welcomed the royal directives issued by His Majesty King Abdullah II to increase allocations to the University Student Support Fund by JD5 million.

According to Jordan News Agency, the committee stated that the royal directives reflect His Majesty's continued commitment to supporting the higher education sector, strengthening the principles of justice and equal opportunity, and easing the financial burdens on students and their families, contributing to the sustainability of the education process and safeguarding the right to education.

The committee highlighted that the decision sends a clear message underscoring the priority of investing in Jordanians as the cornerstone of comprehensive development, while also praising government cooperation in implementing the royal directives in a manner that serves the supreme national interest.
