Baghdad, Lower House Speaker, Ahmad Safadi, said Jordan, under His Majesty King Abdullah II’s leadership, will maintain support to Iraq to eliminate terrorism.
Addressing Iraqi Parliament’s on Wednesday, Safadi noted Jordan stresses importance of building tripartite cooperation between Jordan, Egypt and Iraq and the economic projects agreed upon by the three countries, including electrical interconnection projects.
“As in the summits’ outcomes, It is important to push economic integration to strengthen brotherhood and friendship among the region’s peoples and establish a spirit of tolerance,” he added.
Safadi stressed the necessity of turning brotherly Jordanian-Iraqi relations into “practical” steps that would serve and benefit the two countries’ peoples.
He said Iraq will achieve progress and remain supporter of the Arab nation, which reflects its history and civilization.
