Amman: Public Prosecutor of Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (IACC), Yazeed Nawafleh, ordered the detention of an employee at the Land Transport Regulatory Commission and the authorized signatory of a company operating in tourist car rentals for 15 days pending investigation at Marka Reform and Rehabilitation Center.

According to Jordan News Agency, a preliminary probe revealed that one of the suspects committed the felony of material forgery and tampered with an official information system, while the other was complicit in these crimes. Both suspects jointly perpetrated the misdemeanor of fraud.

The commission had earlier referred the case to the judiciary.
