Industrial Exports in Jordan Surge Over 90% to JD8.9 Billion in Five Years

Amman:Industrial exports in Jordan have surged by over 90% from 2020 to 2025, reaching nearly JD8.9 billion compared to JD4.7 billion in 2020. This significant growth was highlighted by Fathi Jaghbir, Chair of the Jordan and Amman chambers of industry, at a meeting organized by the Rakhaa Businessmen Association.

According to Jordan News Agency, Jaghbir emphasized the substantial progress made by the industrial sector in recent years, which contributed to 40% of Jordan's economic growth in 2025. He credited the sector's development partly to strong Royal support, which stimulated production and created employment opportunities.

Jaghbir also underscored the importance of enhanced cooperation between the industrial and commercial sectors. He advocated for the exchange of information on market needs and investment opportunities, as well as coordinated efforts to address shared challenges. Such collaboration, he pointed out, would lead to practical proposals for improving the business environment and expanding growth opportunities.

Rakhaa Businessmen Association Chair Rasmi Mallah praised the creativity, adaptability, and responsiveness of Jordanian industry during the COVID-19 pandemic. He highlighted the ability of Jordanian manufacturers to turn challenges into practical solutions, supporting production and strengthening food and pharmaceutical security.

Mallah stressed that the relationship between manufacturers and traders should be viewed as a long-term partnership based on trust, knowledge sharing, and mutual benefit. He explained that effective cooperation starts with understanding each other's needs, enabling manufacturers to identify market demand and helping traders recognize the quality, diversity, and competitiveness of Jordanian products.

He further elaborated that manufacturers transform ideas into products, while traders connect those products with consumers and markets. This complementary relationship in production, marketing, distribution, and exports contributes to business growth and job creation. Mallah expressed the association's interest in developing practical cooperation with the Jordan and Amman chambers of industry and continuing meetings that bring together manufacturers, traders, and distributors.

Established in Amman in 1996, the Rakhaa Businessmen Association aims to connect business owners and economic professionals across sectors, promoting entrepreneurial ideas and skills.
