Industry min. heads 5th meeting of ministerial group for industrial development

Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel el Wazir headed the 5th meeting of the ministerial group for industrial development. The attendants discussed improvising measures and regulations to prevent trading of industrial land. The meeting tackled the vision of the ministerial group to handle the most important challenges in the industrial zone in el Matahra in Minya, including improving the electric abilities in the complex to cover the consumption of the factories and solve the issue of trapped power. The meeting also reviewed mechanisms of boosting the flow of Egyptian exports, especially clothes and textile, to Turkey. It also tackled a bundle of organization measures to facilitate the entrance of Egyptian exports from the border terminals with Sudan and Libya. The meeting also reviewed a detailed plan of the industrial zone in New Alamein. Source: State Information Service Egypt
