Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Yousef Shamali, on Thursday, discussed with Czech ambassador in Amman Josef Koutsky ways to further enhance economic cooperation between Amman and Prague.
The sides also discussed preparations for convening he meetings of the second session the Jordanian-Czech Joint Committee during the second half of 2022, in addition to holding a forum for businessmen on the sidelines of the committee’s meetings.
In 2020, Jordanian exports to the Czech Republic amounted to only $126,000, decreased by 15 percent, while the value of imports from the Czech market stood at nearly $38.4 million, reduced by 5 percent compared to 2019.
