INJAZ, a youth-centered non-profit organization, and the German Sparkassenstiftung for International Cooperation (DSIK) signed an agreement to integrate financial simulation games into INJAZ’s Financial Education school program.

The Saving Game simulation is a highly interactive training tool for young people, families and small businesses that wish to learn the art of efficient family budget management and savings mobilization. It will help achieve an income-cost balance and deal with unexpected events that may affect the budget.

According to an INJAZ statement issued Monday, the deal was inked by CEO of INJAZ Deema Bibi and DSIK Jordan Project Coordinator Lydia Nafa.

Bibi said the agreement seeks to deepen the benefits of school educational programs and expand their reach to achieve National Financial Inclusion Strategy goals.

For her part, Nafa said the DSIK aims to enhance financial flexibility for poor and low-income people affected by crises in Jordan, mainly by creating sustainable job opportunities and improving accessibility to education.

She added that integrating such interactive business simulation tools into school curricula will result in better results.
