Amman: Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (IACC) Chairman Hazem Majali stated on Saturday that the Public Prosecution is the sole entity authorized to handle referrals of anti-graft cases, emphasizing that no files related to ministers have been submitted to the Prime Minister.
According to Jordan News Agency, Majali expressed the commission's surprise at social media reports suggesting that it had forwarded certain cases to the government. He firmly denied these claims, labeling them as baseless and unfounded. Majali also stressed the importance of accuracy in media coverage concerning the commission's activities, warning that legal consequences could arise from misreporting.
