Intelligence Agency.. Thwarting a Child Sale and arresting the Accused in Baghdad

The Intelligence Agency's detachments specialized in combating organized crime in Baghdad Governorate / Rusafa side/ thwarted the sale of a newborn child. The Agency stated in a statement that this came after monitoring accurate intelligence information indicating that there was an accused person seeking to sell a child in one of the areas of Baghdad Governorate after bringing him from outside the governorate, where the accused was arrested in flagrante delicto. It explained that upon investigation, he explicitly confessed to his intention to sell the child for a sum of money, and he was referred to the competent judicial authorities to receive his just punishment.
