Karak: Interior Minister Mazen Faraya visited Karak and met with Governor Qablan Sharif, along with the heads of the Karak Greater Municipality, the Provincial Council committees, administrative governors, and security officials.
According to Jordan News Agency, during the visit, Faraya discussed the provincial council's budget and project priorities with the attendees. He emphasized the importance of reviewing projects to ensure they directly serve the public interest and meet the needs of the people. Faraya directed officials to expedite project implementation and ensure the disbursement of allocated funds before the end of the current fiscal year.
The Minister was briefed on Karak Municipality's plans for the upcoming phase, stressing the necessity for these plans to align with government directives and the indicators set within the provincial council's budget. Faraya also instructed administrative governors and security agencies to cooperate fully and provide direct support to the heads of municipal committees and the provincial council.
He called for coordination among all stakeholders in Karak to effectively serve the public and achieve improvement in the performance of municipalities and the provincial council. Faraya reiterated the government's confidence in the capacity of various departments and institutions to fulfill their responsibilities in service of citizens.
The Minister also visited the Wadi Ibn Hammad Road Project and the Wadi Tourist Camp Project, which are being implemented by the Dar Al Karak Heritage and Tourism Association, highlighting ongoing efforts to develop infrastructure and tourism in the region.
