The Ministry of Interior announced, today, Thursday, the extradition of two defendants wanted by the judiciary from Iran. The spokesman for the Interior and the Security Media Cell, Brigadier General Muqdad Miri, said in a statement: "With intensive and exceptional efforts by the Arab and International Police Directorate / Interpol, and through direct coordination with Interpol Tehran in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Arab and International Police Directorate detachments were able to extradite two fugitive Iraqi defendants wanted by the Iraqi judiciary for the crime of (kidnapping) for terrorist motives and sentenced to death in absentia."
