Amman: Minister of Investment Tariq Abu Ghazaleh met with the Japanese Ambassador to the Kingdom, Asari Hideki, to discuss economic and investment cooperation.
According to Jordan News Agency, Abu Ghazaleh emphasized the importance of building on the strategic relations between the two countries and following up on the outcomes of His Majesty King Abdullah II's recent visit to Japan. He highlighted the need to strengthen cooperation in key sectors such as technological transformation, services, specialized industries, mining, and energy.
Abu Ghazaleh expressed Jordan's eagerness to expand economic partnerships with Japan, pointing out the promising investment opportunities available in the Kingdom. He stated that these efforts align with the government's strategy to modernize the economy and attract quality investments through a comprehensive framework of legislation, incentives, and investment facilities.
Ambassador Hideki praised Jordan's stable investment environment and the various measures implemented to improve the business climate and enhance the investor experience. He reiterated Japan's commitment to expanding cooperation and building on the shared successes and strong political and economic ties with Jordan.
