Minister of Investment, Khairy Amr, said that the ministry is working on alignment between the (2023-2026) Investment promotion strategy and the outcomes of Economic Modernization Vision to attract local and foreign value-added investments.
Amr made his remarks as he met, on Thursday, with a World Bank Group (WBG) delegation, currently visiting the Kingdom, to discuss the mechanisms and steps for implementing the investment promotion strategy that was prepared by the ministry in cooperation with the WBG and implemented by Deloitte.
During the meeting, Amr said the government is working on creating a stimulating and attractive investment environment adding that a draft law regulating the investment environment is being discussed with the private sector.
The meeting covered mechanisms of implementing the promotion strategy during the coming period and the need to provide the necessary human and financial resources.
