Amman: Minister of Investment Tareq Abu Ghazaleh on Thursday rang the opening bell at the London Stock Exchange on the occasion of Jordan Day, which highlights the Kingdom's business climate and investment prospects to global financial institutions and international investors.
According to Jordan News Agency, global financial leaders, fund managers, British and international executives, and business leaders convened to explore economic collaboration and target opportunities across priority sectors in Jordan. Abu Ghazaleh noted that Jordan Day reflects the strong economic ties between Jordan and the UK while providing a key platform to showcase Amman's investment ecosystem.
He said Jordan serves as a strategic gateway to regional markets, citing its strategic location, broad network of trade agreements, political and economic stability, and competitive business environment.
Jordan, according to Abu Ghazaleh, continues to enhance its investment environment in line with its Economic Modernization Vision by updating legislation, streamlining procedures, improving business competitiveness, and offering incentives for high-value projects. He added that the Jordanian economy has proven resilient despite regional challenges, maintaining stability through balanced economic policies that reinforce investor confidence in the Kingdom as a reliable destination for long-term investment.
