Iran Claims Acquisition of Major Trove of Sensitive Israeli Documents

Tehran: Iranian intelligence has reportedly obtained a large cache of highly sensitive strategic documents from Israel, including material related to the country's nuclear facilities and military projects, as reported by Iranian state media.

According to Anadolu Agency, Tehran has acquired 'a massive volume of strategic documents of special sensitivity' linked to Israel. Among these files are 'thousands of documents concerning Israeli nuclear facilities and occupation-related projects.' While the exact timing of the acquisition was not specified, it was indicated that the operation took place some time ago but was kept confidential due to the need for a secure transfer of the data into Iran.

The report noted, "The size of the documents and the logistical challenges of safely moving the entire load into secure locations within Iran required full confidentiality during the operation." The entire trove of documents has reportedly been successfully transported to 'designated secure sites' within Iran.

The extensive volume of information is expected to require considerable time for a thorough review, as it includes numerous documents, photos, and accompanying video files. Iranian authorities have not disclosed how the documents were obtained, nor whether the breach occurred digitally or physically, but this development is likely to escalate tensions between Tehran and Tel Aviv.

Israel has not yet provided an official response to the Iranian claims. This revelation occurs amid a backdrop of rising hostilities between the two longstanding adversaries.
