A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that during the meeting, bilateral relations between the two countries were reviewed and the importance of strengthening cooperation in all fields was emphasized. The Undersecretary of the Ministry expressed his deep thanks for the efforts made by the Ambassador during his tenure in Iraq, wishing him success in his future missions. For his part, the Indian Ambassador thanked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the support and assistance that contributed to the success and facilitation of the tasks of the diplomatic mission in Baghdad.
