Iraq condemns ongoing Israeli crimes in Gaza

The Iraqi government condemned, in the strongest terms, the ongoing crimes committed by the Zionist occupation forces in the Gaza Strip since yesterday, in continuation of their brutal and criminal approach against Palestinian civilians and civilian facilities. The official Spokesman for the government, Basem Al-Awadi, said in a statement that "at dawn yesterday, more than forty civilians were martyred by the occupation forces' shelling of the displaced persons' camps in Al-Mawasi area, Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, which was afflicted by the aggression, and in the past few hours the Zionist destruction machine targeted Al-Nuseirat School, which caused casualties, including 6 employees of the UNRWA. He added, "The aggression's insistence on going to the utmost levels of extremism and brutality in the Gaza Strip requires the entire world, with its major countries, organizations and institutions, to move; In order to curb the aggressive beast that has escaped from all law, legislation, values or morals ; because the price of this unjustified silence is new victims and continuous sabotage, which places all countries of the world, especially the major countries, before a historical responsibility that requires standing up to this ongoing criminality.
