The head of the two Americas Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Diari Ahmed Majeed, received the Venezuelan Ambassador to Iraq, Dr. Arturo Aníbal Gallegos Ramirez, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Baghdad.
The two sides discussed during the meeting, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, topics of common concern, and discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations to serve the interests of the two friendly peoples.
They also stressed the importance of expanding cooperation in various fields, and exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest.
