Irbid and Daraa Chambers Sign MoU to Boost Industrial and Trade Cooperation

Irbid: Heads of Irbid Chamber of Industry (ICI), Hani Abu Hassan, and Syria's Daraa Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Nashat Rifai, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance joint industrial, commercial, and investment cooperation.

According to Jordan News Agency, the MoU aims to stimulate collaboration among business people and members of both chambers. It focuses on exchanging information on economic events, industrial and investment sectors, and commercial legislation. The agreement also includes cooperation in organizing economic forums, exchange visits, and developing networking opportunities to showcase available investment and trade opportunities in both countries.

At the signing ceremony, Abu Hassan emphasized that the MoU represents a significant step to expand industrial and commercial cooperation. It is expected to open new avenues for business people from both countries, contribute to economic activity, and enhance the competitiveness of national products. He also highlighted the chamber's commitment to strengthening regional partnerships to benefit the industrial sector and the national economy.

Rifai stated that the agreement serves as a practical measure to activate economic relations, open new prospects for industrial and economic exchange, and build genuine partnerships among businesspeople. The goal is to support both economies and promote shared growth opportunities.

Furthermore, both sides have agreed to monitor the MoU's implementation through continuous communication channels and form joint working groups to study available opportunities. This initiative is intended to achieve the MoU's goals and enhance mutual cooperation.
