Islamic Resistance targets gathering of Israeli soldiers in Markaba, shells Karmiel settlement with rocket barrage

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon on Wednesday released the following statement: "In solidarity with our steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza and in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, and in defense of Lebanon and its people, fighters from the Islamic Resistance targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers in southern Lebanon's Markaba with artillery shells at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, October 16, 2024." In a separate statement, the Islamic Resistance said: "In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza and their valiant and honorable resistance, and in defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the brutal Israeli aggression against cities, villages, and civilians, fighters from the Islamic Resistance shelled the Karmiel settlement with a large rocket barrage at 1:40 am on Wednesday, October 16, 2024."
