Islamic Resistance targets Israeli forces in Southern Lebanon with explosives, casualties reported

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon on Thursday issued two statements, announcing operations targeting Israeli forces in southern Lebanon. According to the Resistance, and in support of the Palestinian resistance in Gaza and in defense of Lebanon, its fighters detonated explosives against advancing Israeli troops. At 12:00 pm, an Israeli infantry unit attempting to infiltrate the outskirts of Yaroun was hit by an explosive device, leaving casualties among the soldiers. In a second attack, the Islamic Resistance targeted a unit from the Golani Brigade near Maroun al-Ras, also causing fatalities and injuries. Source: National News Agency - Lebanon
