Tel Aviv: Israeli occupation authorities on Saturday released 339 Palestinian prisoners, marking the sixth group freed under the Gaza ceasefire deal.
According to Jordan News Agency, the release included 33 detainees from the West Bank who were serving life sentences and 333 from the Gaza Strip. These individuals were detained by Israeli forces following the aggression that commenced on October 7, 2023, as reported by the Palestinian Prisoners and Freed Prisoners Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners Club.
Additionally, as part of the same deal, Palestinian factions in Gaza handed over three Israeli prisoners to the International Committee of the Red Cross.
