Amman:West Bank Israeli forces reportedly abducted seven Palestinians and injured three more during olive harvest activities throughout the occupied West Bank, as reported by Palestinian media and witnesses.
According to Anadolu Agency, state-run Voice of Palestine radio confirmed that three farmers were abducted from their land near the town of Nahhalin in Bethlehem province. The radio did not provide details about their current whereabouts.
Another abduction occurred in the northern Nablus province, where a Palestinian farmer was taken while harvesting olives in Beit Imrin. His status remains unknown. Witnesses reported to Anadolu that three Palestinian farmers were assaulted south of Beita, and the injured were taken to a medical center for treatment.
Voice of Palestine also reported the abduction of three more Palestinians during an attack in Qaffin, north of Tulkarm, though details were not provided.
The Al-Baidar human rights organization noted that occupiers seized harvested olives and released livestock onto farmland in Aboud village, central West Bank. These actions pose a threat to Palestinian land and crops, endangering the livelihoods of families amid the ongoing olive harvest.
Earlier, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society treated 10 individuals after Israeli forces attacked olive pickers in Deir Abu Mashal village. Injuries included a live-fire wound, two rubber bullet injuries, and seven from physical assaults.
The Palestinian Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission reported 12 attacks against farmers by Saturday noon, involving detentions, beatings, property theft, and forced evacuations from lands.
Since the olive harvest season began in early October, attacks have escalated, featuring assaults, access restrictions, crop theft, and tree destruction. The commission highlighted the damage to over 45,000 trees, including more than 26,000 olive trees, in the first half of 2026. Official figures indicate around 750,000 Israeli occupiers reside in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.
