Israeli Occupation Army Arrests 14 Palestinians in West Bank Raids

Ramallah: Israeli occupation forces arrested 14 Palestinians during raids across the West Bank on Monday, which sparked clashes with local youths, and Jewish settlers staged attacks on Palestinian property in several locations of the occupied territory.

According to Jordan News Agency, troops raided locations in the cities of Ramallah, Al-Bireh, Bethlehem, Qalqilya, and Hebron and arrested 14 "wanted" people, the Palestinian Prisoners' Club said.

Meanwhile, Diehard settlers descended on the town of Taybeh, east of Ramallah, set fire to two vehicles and spray-painted anti-Arab slogans on the walls of a house, the local council said. Settlers also grabbed new land in the north of the Jordan Valley in the West Bank, according to Palestinian sources.

The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission also said settlers fenced off additional lands near tents of Palestinians in the Bedouin community, denying them access to pastureland before seizing the property as part of a settlement expansion scheme.
