The Israeli newspaper Maariv reported that the head of the National Police College, Koresh Barnor, resigned from his position after he was not included in the latest round of police appointments. He joins a long line of senior officials who have announced their retirement, the latest of whom was the head of a division. Barnor led the investigations against the Netanyahu family as head of the National Fraud Investigations Unit, and in 2019 was appointed commander of the National Police College.
