Amman: Israeli settlers established a new illegal outpost on Monday on Palestinian land in the town of Huwara, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
According to Jordan News Agency, settlers set up tents and plastic structures on Jabal Ras Zeid in the Za'atra Basin, an area that had been previously bulldozed by settlers about a month ago.
The Palestinian Authority's Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission reported that settlers attempted to establish eight new outposts in various locations across the West Bank, primarily in agricultural and pastoral areas.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces arrested 19 Palestinians, including former detainees, from different areas in the West Bank on Monday as part of their ongoing raids in the northern governorates and refugee camps.
The Palestinian Prisoners' Club stated that Israeli forces stormed several cities, including Qalqilya, Ramallah, Al-Bireh, Bethlehem, and Hebron, under the pretext that the detainees were "wanted."
In addition, Israeli forces continue to demolish infrastructure and homes, leading to mass displacement in the cities of Tulkarm and Jenin.
