Beirut: Israeli warplanes and drones conducted extensive airstrikes on several locations in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa region on Sunday evening, a Lebanese security source reported.

According to Jordan News Agency, the airstrikes were concentrated on the areas of Basaliyah and Kfar Melki in the Iqlim al-Tuffah region of southern Lebanon, as well as Wadi Tabna in the town of Baysariyeh. These attacks occurred amid ongoing overflights by Israeli warplanes over the southern city of Tyre and its coastal areas.

The Israeli air force also targeted the areas of Flawi and Bouday, located on the eastern slopes of Lebanon's western mountain range in the Bekaa region. Additionally, the towns of Deir Qanoun al-Nahr and Ras al-Ain in the same area were struck.

Israeli drones were observed flying intensively over both the eastern and western mountain ranges of the Bekaa valley, heightening tensions in the region.
