Israel’s Airstrikes Continue in Gaza, Killing 10 More Palestinians

Gaza City: The Israeli army killed at least 10 Palestinians in new airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, a day after it killed 100 Palestinians in a 24-hour period, according to medics.

According to Anadolu Agency, three people lost their lives in two separate attacks targeting a group of civilians in Deir al-Balah city and the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, as reported by a medical source. Additionally, a Palestinian was killed, and several people were injured in Israeli shelling of the Shujaiya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City.

The official Palestinian news agency Wafa, citing medical sources, reported that five people were also killed in an Israeli airstrike on a home in Beit Lahia town in the northern Gaza Strip. It added that rescue teams are struggling to rescue a woman from under the rubble of the struck home.

Separately, a Palestinian girl was killed and four others were injured in Israeli artillery shelling of tents hosting displaced people in the western Khan Younis city in southern Gaza. Local sources reported that two fishermen were injured by Israeli navy fire off the coast of Khan Younis.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army continued to blow up Palestinian homes and buildings in southern Rafah city and the eastern areas of Gaza City. These deadly attacks come a day after Israel killed 100 Palestinians in strikes across the war-devastated enclave.

The Israeli army has launched a military onslaught on Gaza, resulting in the deaths of more than 52,600 people, mostly women and children, since Oct. 7, 2023. The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
