Cairo: Jadara University took part in the 20th General Assembly meeting of the Scientific Association of Faculties of Arts in the Union of Arab Universities, hosted recently by Cairo University over two days.
According to Jordan News Agency, representing Jadara University, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Languages Asma Jadallah Khassawneh praised the association's role in developing academic programs and promoting scientific research, while also fostering cooperation and the exchange of expertise among faculties of arts across the Arab world.
Khassawneh emphasized the importance of such gatherings in opening new avenues for collaboration, organizing specialized academic events, and empowering faculty members to contribute to the peer review and publication of research highlighting the regional and Arab standing of Jadara's Faculty of Arts and Languages.
The meeting was held under the patronage of Cairo University President Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadeq, supervised by Dean of the Faculty of Arts Naglaa Raafat Salem, and chaired by Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Yarmouk University and Secretary-General of the Society Mohammad Anagarah. It brought together deans of arts faculties from across the Arab world.
