JAF Launches Battalion Commanders Course for Officers from Jordan and Arab Nations

Amman: The 17th Battalion Commanders and Military Inspections Course was inaugurated on Sunday at the Royal Jordanian Command and Staff College (RJCSC). The course unites officers from different branches of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)-Arab Army and officers from allied Arab nations. Several senior college leaders were present at the inauguration.

According to Jordan News Agency, the RJCSC stated that the sessions aim to prepare and qualify officers "tactically and administratively" by providing the necessary knowledge and skills required for battalion commanders. The course also focuses on refining leadership qualities and enhancing capabilities in military discipline, human resources management, and relevant inspections through a comprehensive training program.

The four-week course includes field practices and covers various topics to enable commanders to manage their units "efficiently and adequately." The agenda includes military leadership, training, security and tactical plans, and peacekeeping operations, aiming to provide a holistic approach to modern military command and operations.
