JAF Official Meets Kuwaiti Delegation to Discuss Empowerment of Military Servicewomen.

Amman: On behalf of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) Assistant for Operations and Training met with a Kuwaiti delegation, led by the Assistant Foreign Minister for Human Rights Affairs, Ambassador Jawaher Ibrahim Al-Sabah. According to Jordan News Agency, during the meeting, the military official emphasized the JAF's achievements in enhancing the role of military servicewomen within the Jordanian army. This effort aligns with Security Council Resolution 1325 (UNSCR 1325) on Women, Peace, and Security. Both parties highlighted the importance of empowering women in peace and security fields, acknowledging their crucial role in maintaining peace and enhancing stability. The discussions underscored the necessity of training and supporting female participants in these areas, as stated in a JAF statement.
