Amman: Chairman of the Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA), Hamdi Tabbaa, engaged in discussions with the Latvian Ambassador to Cairo, Andris Raz?ns, focusing on economic cooperation and ways to enhance bilateral investment and trade partnerships.
According to Jordan News Agency, Tabbaa emphasized the significance of boosting Jordanian-Latvian economic ties by increasing interactions between businesspeople and the private sectors of both nations. He advocated for expanding mutual trade to reflect the "friendly" relations and enhancing investment cooperation, particularly in sectors such as energy, information technology, and the green economy.
Tabbaa proposed the establishment of a Jordanian-Latvian Business Council to fulfill this vision. The ambassador echoed the importance of fortifying bilateral relations in economic, investment, and trade areas. He highlighted the need to showcase the "promising" investment opportunities available in both countries to business leaders by fostering joint dialogues and sharing expertise in developing investment projects.
