JCC: Economic Roadmap Underway to Strengthen Jordanian-Kazakh Relations

Amman: Chairman of Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC), Khalil Haj Tawfiq, announced that the chamber is collaborating with the Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan (CIC) to develop an economic roadmap aimed at enhancing trade and investment relations between Jordan and Kazakhstan. According to Jordan News Agency, Haj Tawfiq highlighted that His Majesty King Abdullah II's recent visit to Kazakhstan marked the beginning of a new phase of cooperation, focusing on strengthening trade and investment partnerships. This initiative is part of the robust diplomatic relations between the two nations, supported by a series of agreements, memoranda of understanding, and cooperation programs. During an economic forum, His Majesty emphasized the importance of implementing the outcomes of the conference to ensure lasting impact, initiate tangible projects, foster enduring partnerships, and achieve mutual prosperity. Haj Tawfiq underscored that the forum is integral to efforts aimed at boosting economic cooperati on and increasing the exchange of trade and investment between the two countries. Haj Tawfiq commended His Majesty's endeavors to enhance economic relations with Kazakhstan and establish connections with Central Asian countries. The Chamber of International Commerce of Kazakhstan has expressed its willingness to support Jordanian companies interested in investing in the Kazakh market and facilitate their business operations. Haj Tawfiq believes this approach will have a constructive impact on trade relations between Jordan and Kazakhstan, elevating them to meet the aspirations of both nations. He also emphasized the vital role of commerce chambers in stimulating commerce, organizing business meetings, and promoting the exchange of visits, expertise, and information. Looking ahead, Haj Tawfiq called for reinforced efforts to create strategic trade and investment partnerships to support the growth of trade and investment. He also mentioned a memorandum of understanding between the JCC and the International C hamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan, which is designed to deepen economic cooperation and support bilateral trade exchanges, aiming to achieve tangible outcomes.
