JCI Report Outlines Regulatory Solutions for Jordan’s Food Industry Challenges

Amman: The Jordan Chamber of Industry (JCI) has issued the third report in its reform series titled "Regulatory Challenges Pending Solutions." This report focuses on the food, supply, agricultural, and livestock industries, which are closely linked to Jordan's food security and economic stability.

According to Jordan News Agency, the report continues the chamber's institutional approach to identifying key regulatory hardships facing Jordan's industrial sub-sectors. It also proposes practical solutions that align with the priorities of the Economic Modernization Vision (EMV), particularly under the axis of "Unleashing Potential." The report highlights that despite the sector's importance, there is a need to expand the production base and enhance reliance on local inputs.

The chamber has emphasized that addressing these challenges is a national priority, in line with Jordan's economic modernization and food security strategy. The report suggests that the proposed solutions do not require new budgets or direct financial support but instead call for decisions that will enhance local production.
