Accra:The Jordan Hotel Association and the Vocational Training Corporation have entered into a cooperation agreement designed to align hospitality training with the specific needs of Jordan's hotel industry. The agreement was signed by JHA Vice Chairman Hani Dabbas and VTC Director General Raafat Sawafin.
According to Jordan News Agency, the partnership will see the JHA identifying necessary skill sets and roles required by hotels, while the VTC will create and implement training programs tailored to these specific demands. This initiative aims to enhance youth employment prospects by focusing on employment-driven training over traditional methods.
Dabbas emphasized that this shift is expected to bridge the skill gap between hospitality graduates and employers, ultimately improving service quality across the sector. Sawafin noted that the partnership would equip national talent with practical skills, facilitating their integration into the labor market.
