JHCO Collaborates to Launch Emergency Hospitals in Gaza

Gaza: The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), along with Al-Quds University and Kids Operating Room, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to support the "Emergency Hope Hospitals in Gaza" initiative. This initiative is focused on establishing three emergency hospitals dedicated to maternity and child care, emergency services, and surgery.

According to Jordan News Agency, the agreement entails cooperation among the three parties in planning, deployment, and consistent supply efforts to ensure the sustainability of these hospitals. The collaboration aims to support affected communities and optimize resources for effective establishment and maintenance of hospital operations.

Hussein Shibli, Secretary-General of JHCO, emphasized the challenges facing Gaza's healthcare sector. He highlighted the partnership's role in facilitating medical aid delivery and ensuring healthcare service continuity during challenging times. Imad Abu Kishek, President of Al-Quds University, echoed the urgency of the initiative, stating that establishing these field hospitals is a moral obligation amidst the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. He affirmed the university's commitment to mobilizing resources and expertise for the project's success.

The Memorandum of Understanding marks a crucial step towards international cooperation in strengthening Gaza's healthcare sector, aiming to deliver essential medical services to those in dire need.
