Amman: Her Royal Highness Princess Sara bint Feisal, Deputy Director of the Olympic Preparation Programme at the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC), chaired a pivotal meeting with delegations for the Asian Youth Games (Bahrain 2025) and the Islamic Solidarity Games (Riyadh 2025). JOC Vice President Jihad Qutaishat and JOC Secretary General Rana Al-Saeed were also present at the discussion.
According to Jordan News Agency, Her Royal Highness expressed her confidence in the ambition and dedication of the athletes participating in the upcoming events. She emphasized the importance of maintaining discipline and commitment to achieving the best possible results and representing Jordan honorably. Her Royal Highness wished success for both delegations and praised the determination and spirit of Jordan's national teams.
The Asian Youth Games will be held in Bahrain from October 22-31, with HRH Princess Sara bint Faisal leading the Jordanian delegation. The team comprises 120 athletes competing in various sports, including handball, volleyball, mixed martial arts, and more. Meanwhile, the Islamic Solidarity Games will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from November 7-21, 2025, with JOC Vice President Jihad Qutaishat at the helm of the Jordanian delegation of 43 athletes across multiple disciplines.
Qutaishat expressed his pride in leading Jordan's delegation to the Islamic Solidarity Games, affirming his confidence in the athletes' ability to achieve results worthy of Jordanian sport. Al-Saeed commended the efforts of the national teams over the past period, reviewed administrative and organizational guidelines for the events, and wished both delegations success in their participation.
